During the October 2019 meeting of the ICC Banking Commission in Paris, a session was conducted on ‘Documentary Credit Practices: Controversy & Guidance', moderated by David Meynell.
Issues included:
A very useful panel discussion ensued, followed by an excellent interactive dialogue with the audience.
Topics of interest ranged from formats for eUCP credits, simple LC layouts, access to ISBP, new Guidance Papers, National Committee forums, best practices, and sanction clauses.
Some of these we have already addressed in the past and we will turn our attention to others in the future.
